Mad*Reach: Youth Group Outreaches to Madison

Mad*Reach is a week long outreach in Madison that reaches out to the homeless, the poor and the fatherless. We partner with youth groups and youth pastors to offer discipleship training and outreach opportunities that intensify growth in teenagers lives. Your students are gifted and have a unique role to play in the world. We want to help you develop your students’ gifts and see how they can make a difference today! Mad*Reach is a concentrated week designed for groups of students, often youth groups, to grow in their relationship with God, to learn how to better hear His voice, and to experience God’s compassion for those around them. Students learn how to share the Gospel and how to apply these things after returning home.

Rescue Ops Thailand/Cambodia: Human Trafficking

Around the world, there are more than 27 million victims of human trafficking. Thailand is a major hub for this illegal trade. Thai and hill tribe women and children are trafficked to Japan, Malaysia, South Africa, Bahrain, Australia, Singapore, Europe, Canada and the United States for sexual and labor exploitation. Within the country women are trafficked from the impoverished Northeast and the North to Bangkok for sexual exploitation. The statistics are staggering and sometimes paralyzing. But imagine the difference we can make when we focus our attention on one city… one person… one life changed forever. Rescue Ops Japan: Women & Children at Risk

Japan is a nation in crisis. Earthquakes and tsunamis have ravaged the countryside and left many hurting people in their wake. Rescue Ops will go to Japan and spread hope to a people that have every reason to despair. We will show them through our actions that there is a reason to dream again, that there are people from across the world who care & a God in heaven who loves them and longs to help. Rescue Ops Kenya: Community Development

Unsafe water and lack of basic sanitation cause 80% of diseases and kill more people every year than all forms of violence, including war. Children are especially vulnerable, as their bodies aren’t strong enough to fight diarrhea, dysentery and other illnesses. 90% of the 42,000 deaths that occur every week from unsafe water and unhygienic living conditions are to children under five years old. Many of these diseases are preventable. The UN predicts that one tenth of the global disease burden can be prevented simply by improving water supply and sanitation. Rescue Ops will send a team to a rural community in Kenya where villagers spend hours a day retrieving dirty water. Badger Up: London Olympic Games

The nations will flock to London for the Olympic Games in the summer of 2012. We will partner with YWAM London to reach the city, the athletes and their fans. We will reach out through evangelism, intercession and practical work to combat human trafficking. YWAM London/The Forever Team believes there is a door of opportunity open for us in 2012 in the UK that we cannot miss. Helena (who leads the Forever Teams) exhorts, “Young people are vital agents for what God is already doing, and will continue to do.” Join us for this opportunity of a lifetime!

Access Nicaragua

Access is your summer adventure with God! It’s not a “typical” youth outreach. You won’t just build houses and visit far off places. You will change the world! Access is a hybrid leadership camp and missions trip led by a team of experienced missionaries who believe teens can change nations. David was only 17 when he killed Goliath. Samuel was only 8 when he heard God’s voice and started leading a nation. And Esther was only 15 when she saved her people from genocide.

Access will lead a team of teens to Nicaragua. There, we will work with kids and teens from very poor neighborhoods. We will reach out to them through soccer ministry, evangelism, VBS and Bible Distribution. And we will demonstrate the love of a Father who never leaves them.
