Raising support can feel like one of our greatest challenges as missionaries. But it doesn’t have to stay that way!
Join us for a one-week YWAM Fundraising Workshop that will give you the tools you need to succeed. Veteran YWAMers, Wick Nease and Steve Pontius, will share inspirational stories and concrete steps you can implement to radically increase your support. Whether you are in YWAM or serving with another ministry, you will benefit from this training.
Wick Nease joined YWAM in 1972. He served as YWAM North America’s Central District Director for a number of years. As Director, he noticed one common struggle. Missionaries would start strong, but end up leaving the field because they lacked funding.
To address this issue, Wick & Steve started running a one-week fundraising seminar for YWAM staff. In the first year, hundreds of staff attended. As staff implemented the strategies in the fundraising seminar, their support doubled that year! This trend continued. People who would have left the field could now accomplish the vision God gave them!
YWAM Fundraising Workshop includes:
- The biblical basis for fundraising
- Inspirational stories of God’s provision
- How to develop and refine your vision/mission statement
- How to develop a fundraising packet
- How to set up fundraising trips
- How to grow a support team
- How to communicate with your support team (newsletters, blogs, phone, gifts, etc.)
- How to maintain relationships with your donors
