At YWAM Madison, we believe that loss is not the end of the line for children at risk. We long to restore hope & joy to orphans & street kids. Our volunteer teams put great effort into spoiling these kids. We plan extravagant parties and special outings. We deliver piles of gifts, toys, and gently used clothes and shoes. We engineer craft & game times. And we are looking for your help! Option 1 – Become a Spoil the Kids Wish List DonorSpoil the Kids Wish List Donors collect items from our Spoil the Kids Wish List. All items collected should be shipped or dropped off at our YWAM Madison main office. YWAM Madison We will then send these items with our outreach teams to take to orphans and street kids around the world. Option 2 – Plan a Party in a BagParty in a Bag Planners come up with a party idea for our outreach teams to use for orphans. Briefly outline your idea on paper and collect all the items necessary for our team to host that party. All these items should be put in a suitcase which should weigh less than 50 pounds. This suitcase would be shipped or dropped off at our main office. YWAM Madison We will then take these items with our outreach teams and deliver them to orphans and street kids around the world. (For Example – you could plan a pirate party and collect items to make pirate hats as a craft + send sugar cookie mixes that we could make cookies for the kids in the shape of treasure chests and send little candies along to decorate the cookies as the treasures. You also might want to throw in a few cookie cutters! You get the idea. Let your imagination go wild. :D) Option 3 – Become a Spoil the Kids Cash DonorAs we host these parties in other countries, many of the items we need are much simpler and cheaper to buy there rather than to bring with us. Plus it helps the local economy and creates jobs. Lack of jobs is often a huge problem behind the children at risk crisis. In addition, it usually costs us $50-$100 in round trip luggage fees to transport the Spoil the Kids gifts & supplies overseas. Consider donating to our Spoil the Kids fund. 100% of proceeds given to this fund will go to hosting special events for orphans and street kids.
