One hundred years ago, college students changed the face of modern missions. It’s time for a new movement! Join fellow students who want to do something about poverty, pure water, human trafficking, and more!

YWAM’s University Discipleship Training School (U-DTS) in Madison, Wisconsin will equip and challenge you to worship, know, love, obey, and listen to God. It will impart vision and prepare a new generation of student-led missions.

You don’t even have to miss out on your university classes. The U-DTS runs in the summer months. The first summer is all about going deeper in your walk with God and working out God’s calling on your life. Be who God made you to be! The second summer, go and DO what God made you to do! It’s studying abroad like you’ve never known it before. (YWAM U-DTS may also be completed in the same year, from June-November.)

YWAM U-DTS is About Calling

The DTS is not just a college religion course. The DTS is all about relationships, including relationship with God, His word, His world, and with every person. In this summer training intensive, you’ll learn how to relate to members of your family, the opposite sex, those in authority, those from other cultures and those who would never darken the doors of a church.

Relationship with God, the One who calls us, is essential to understanding our calling and how we make choices for the future that honor God. Upon commissioning, you will make a brief presentation of your vision and calling for life and work.

YWAM U-DTS is Transformational

The University DTS is all about transformation, seeing not just our own lives transformed, but also to see God birth a university movement that affects more than just the entire campus, but impacts every part of society!

You’ll Grow in Leadership

Learning to serve through discipleship is leadership development done God’s way. “If anyone wants to be first He must be…the servant of all!” (Mark 9:35)

It’s God’s Story on Campus

The University is a strategic mission field. We are committed to seeing a God-initiated transformation of the world through university students. The university is the training ground for the world’s future leaders.

As you learn how students have led the way in the past, you’ll be inspired to ask God for a new university student movement of prayer and missions as you study the history of university and how God has transformed nations through campus movements.

You’ll Engage the Campus

You’ll engage the University of Wisconsin campus every week. The UW is home to 40,000 students, nearly 4,000 of whom are international students and many of their families. These students are seeking purpose and meaning for their lives. With God’s help and a community on mission together, we can make a difference here!

Global Outreach

After the summer phase, you will have two options for global outreach. You may serve on a two month global outreach in the fall semester or return for the following summer outreach to invest in campus ministry internationally.
